GT Motive Launches Free Trial of Estimating System

  • 16 March 2017

GT Motive Estimate screengrabGT Motive Estimate, the UK's first cloud-based graphical estimating system which launched at the end of 2016 has passed its latest benchmarking tests with flying colours. After in-depth trials of over 1,000 estimates involving several leading top ten insurers and vehicle manufacturers, the system has been assessed as "highly accurate", consistently delivering precise and detailed estimates using OEM timings.

Phil Briggs, UK Operations Director for GT Motive, said, "These latest results are very pleasing but come as no surprise to me or to the customers who have already made the move to GT Estimate in the few weeks since launch."

"I'm getting excellent feedback from bodyshops, insurance companies, work providers and vehicle manufacturers. Everyone who uses the system comments on the functionality and how the high-quality graphics make part identification and selection quick, easy and error-free – but for me it's all about the accuracy of the estimate."

"I want as many people as possible see it for themselves – so I'm delighted to launch free trial of GT Motive Estimate to all bodyshops in the UK. There's no obligation, no strings and no credit card required. Just go to www.dac-gtmotive.co.uk and sign up for free estimating."

The trial gives 14 days' use of the software including full access to the complete database of parts, collision and maintenance information – the largest and most comprehensive of its kind in the market.

"I've been using estimating software for more years than I care to remember and to me, GT Estimate has it all," continued Phil. "It's a fresh approach to estimating and a real change for the industry."

"We pride ourselves on fair, transparent pricing for software which is designed to improve your business, not tie it down. For an all-in price you get everything you need – technical support, software training, custom data analysis and a development roadmap which includes tablet and mobile apps for estimating in the field and FNOL reporting."

"There has been a lot of focus recently on information security and I'm proud to say that we guarantee the safety of your data. GT Motive is fully secure and cannot be intercepted. Also unlike some other systems, which rely upon bulk manual updates to price lists, GT Estimate is updated overnight whenever a manufacturer changes prices or releases new parts."

"We're even able to offer discounts on IMI VDA accreditations to new customers. And when you consider that you can save up to 40% on your estimating bills if you move across to GT Motive Estimate (and with no hidden extras), there's never been a better reason to try an alternative estimating system." GT Motive Estimate has the support of 37 vehicle manufacturers, uses AZT paint calculations and gives access to Escribe methods. It is fully integrated with the leading bodyshop management systems and with OEM parts catalogues.

The software can be used as a standalone estimating platform or can be fully integrated with Mitchell WorkCenter and RepairCenter Connect for full claims management.

Though it's new to the UK, GT Motive Estimate is a well-established global solution with over 26,000 users and 12,500 bodyshops in 23 countries. The software is developed by GT Motive, a Mitchell partner company, which has half a century of experience developing claims, maintenance and breakdown management solutions, and employs 250 staff across Europe. Mitchell's claims software solutions processes tens of millions of transactions each month for more than 300 insurance companies.

GT Motive is represented in the UK by DAC Holdings, a group of specialist automotive companies in Europe, Africa and South America including International Applications, Paintbox and Cornerstone Technologies, and a shareholder in ITAS.
